Atlanta Public Schools is partnering with Hazel Health to offer free Telehealth Services for all APS students!

With Hazel Health, students can virtually complete an urgent medical care visit or a therapy visit. Hazel’s doctors and therapists are available to see students while they are at home and at school.

Hazel’s telehealth services are available at no cost to APS families and this includes every student, regardless of their insurance or financial situation. Learn more here: English | Spanish

Requesting physical health services: To get started, complete the Hazel Health Care Consent Form. You only need to complete this one time for each student.

You can then request physical health services at home or at school through your Hazel account. Create your account here.

 

Requesting teletherapy: To get started, complete the Hazel Health Care Consent Form. You only need to complete this one time for each student.

Then, create a Hazel account here, and call 800-764-2935 to request therapy for your child. Within 2 business days, a Hazel Health representative will contact you to schedule an intake visit.

U.S. Department of Labor: Child Labor Laws and Protections for Young Workers

If you or your child is a worker under age 18, you have rights! As a young worker, you have the right to 1) a safe workplace, 2) job safety training, 3) needed safety equipment, and 4) the ability to speak up without fear.

If you believe your workplace is in violation of child labor laws, you can file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Labor. An employer cannot retaliate against a worker for exercising their rights, filing a complaint or cooperating with an investigation.
